On October 19 (Wednesday) at 9:00 am<\/strong>, the bilateral International Conference on Ecotoxicology and Environmental Sciences (ICEES – 2022) has started at the Journalist Liakat Ali Auditorium, Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Academic Building, Khulna University. It is an initiative of Institute of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Sciences (IE&ES), India and jointly organized in collaboration with Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) in association with Khulna University, Khulna, Bangladesh.<\/p>

In the inaugural session, Prof. Dr. Mahmood Hossain, Vice- Chancellor, Khulna University has graced the post of Chief Guest and Prof. Dr. Khan Golam Quddus, Dean of Life Science School, Khulna University was the Special Guest. Other delegates on the Dias were Dr. Sarmila Pal, Chairperson, ICEES – 2022, Md. Maksudur Rahman, Vice Chairperson, ICEES -2022; Prof. Dr. Sarder Safiqul Islam, Convener (Bangladesh Chapter), ICEES – 2022 and Dr. Debabrata Mukherjee, Convener (India Chapter), ICEES – 2022.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

On September 19 (Monday) at 11:30 am<\/strong>, a delegation of Institute of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Science (IE&ES) paid a courtesy call to Prof. Dr. Mahmood Hossain, Vice Chancellor, Khulna University at his office to formally invite him as the Chief Guest to inaugurate the upcomimg bilateral International\u00a0 Conference on Ecotoxicology and Environmental Sciences (ICEES – 2022) to be held during 19th – 20th October, 2022. The Secretary of IE&ES, Dr. Debabrata Mukherjee and\u00a0 Treasurer of IE&ES, Mrs. Shreyasee Roy was present among the members of the delegation with BEDS Chief Executive,\u00a0 Maksudur Rahman. At this time, University Registrar (acting), Professor Khan Golam Quddus and Professor of Agrotechnology Discipline and Focal Point of the conference organizing committee Dr. Sardar Shafiqul Islam was also present.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

On July 19 (Tuesday) at 5:00 pm<\/strong>, a meeting was arranged at the Head Office of BEDS where professors from Environmental Science Discipline and Forestry Discipline of Khulna University were also present along with the members of BEDS.\u00a0The delegates, present in the meeting had finalised to organize the “Bilateral International Conference on Ecotoxicology and Environmental Sciences (ICEES-2022)” in October, 2022.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

At this time, Dean of the Life-Science School, Professor Khan Golam Quddus and Head of Agrotechnology Discipline (ongoing duty), Professor Dr. Sardar Shafiqul Islam was present.
